Dom L. Holmes is the Director of Economic Development for Oakland County, Michigan, where he plays a pivotal role in driving countywide economic growth, job creation, and community development. With a robust background in strategic initiatives, international business attraction, and fostering innovation, Dom advises county leadership on economic matters and engages extensively with external stakeholders.

Prior to his current role, Dom served in various leadership capacities within Oakland County's economic development department, focusing on industry-specific strategies, grant administration for significant COVID recovery and Industry 4.0 transformation initiatives, and developing programs to support business growth and federal contracting opportunities. His experience also includes impactful work at Automation Alley, where he managed entrepreneurship and innovation programs, including early-stage funding programs. Dom holds a Bachelor of Public Affairs from Wayne State University.
