"The US/UK business relationship continues to provide a secure foundation for growth and prosperity in our two countries, and also far beyond, as firms use it as a basis to reach out to areas of greater uncertainty. The BABC is playing an increasingly important role in promoting this relationship, and has earned the support that it enjoys from businesses, and business leaders, throughout the US and UK.”
The Lord Browne of Madingley, KCMG
Group Chief Executive, BP p.l.c.

The BABC is the largest transatlantic business network, with 25 chapters -- and 3,500 member companies -- based in more than 20 major business centers throughout North America and the United Kingdom.
The BABC’s chapters are all independent British-American business organizations that participate in the BABC to provide a broader transatlantic business network and additional Member Benefits for their member companies, including marketing, networking and business intelligence opportunities.
The BABC puts on an Annual Transatlantic Business Conference to provide the members of all its chapters with the opportunity to network and develop business together. These Conferences also offer high-level speaker presentations and workshops on key business issues as well as a strong social/networking calendar.

The BABC held its Transatlantic Business Conference for 2008 in Chicago, from April 23rd through the 25th.
